Meet Studio V3
Edit audio and video, create different formats, and add captions, titles and your show’s brand in one workspace.

Studio V3 is now available to everyone. It brings your recording, episode timeline, captions, graphics and branding into the same workspace.
The new layout puts Media, Text, Captions and Brand beside the preview. Build your episode, check how it looks in different formats, and review the result before exporting.
Bring your recording into Studio
Open Studio from your show’s sidebar. Upload a recording from your computer or phone, import from Google Drive or Dropbox, or choose a recording you have already uploaded.
Media brings together your recording, cold open, intro, outro, B-roll and clips. The preview shows the picture, while the timeline lets you work with the parts of the episode.
Split a clip into sections, trim its beginning or end, and change the speed of individual segments. Trimming keeps the source material, so you can adjust your edit later. Use Undo as you work or open Version History to return to an earlier version.
Prepare different formats from one project
Studio supports seven output formats: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 4:3, 2:1 and 3:4. Use landscape for a full video episode, vertical for a short clip, or square and portrait formats for social feeds.
Framing controls let you decide how the recording fits each format:
Auto follows the speaker.
Fit keeps the whole picture visible.
Fill fills the frame.
Stack places two speakers one above the other, with space for text between them.
Use Download Preview to review the version you want before creating the finished file.

Apply your show’s look
Brand is now part of Studio. Open it to preview your Show Style or choose from six themes: Slate, Margin, Folio, Coverlight, Signal and Halo.
Each theme offers a different treatment for your video. Coverlight, for example, uses a blurred version of your show’s cover art behind the picture.
Preview the look before applying it, and use Undo if you want to go back. You can also position your logo and control when it appears in the episode.

Add titles, names and quotes
Open Text to choose a Title, Lower Third, Quote or End Card template.
Replace the template’s words with your own, adjust the font and styling, and position the text in the preview. Outline and shadow controls help you change how the words appear over the footage.
Text appears on the timeline’s Graphics row. Adjust its timing there to show a speaker’s name for a short introduction, keep a title visible longer, or place an end card at the close of the episode.
Style and correct your captions
Studio includes eight caption presets, with support for your show’s fonts. Edit captions for each part of the episode and check their appearance in the preview.
Captions continue across B-roll and cut-ins, so adding another shot does not leave a gap in the captions.
Fix Transcript is also available to every customer. Correct a name once and carry the correction through the title, show notes, chapters, transcript and clip captions. Undo lets you reverse the correction.
Reuse your intro and outro
Saved intros and outros are included in new projects automatically.
They also work when the saved file and the new episode use different media types. An audio intro in a video project becomes an audiogram with your show’s cover art. A video intro in an audio project contributes its sound.
You can keep using those saved parts when moving between audio and video episodes.
Add B-roll or a sound bite
Add B-roll to show another clip while the main recording’s audio continues. A newly added cutaway starts at five seconds.
Turn Sound on when you want the inserted clip’s audio to play as a sound bite before returning to the recording.
Audio episodes use the same timeline, with Sound Clips for cut-ins. You can also export an audiogram using your show’s artwork. In Clips, choose Video or Audiogram and preview the result before generating it.
Review and export
Play through the episode to check your edits, captions, graphics and branding. Use the timeline to move to the section you want to review.
When you are ready, open Export and choose what happens next:
Publish Now releases the episode when it is ready.
Schedule lets you choose a publication date and time.
Draft starts post-production while keeping the episode private.
Download prepares a file for your computer.
You can also export to Google Drive or Dropbox.
Open Studio from your show’s sidebar to get started.
