Import your recordings from Google Drive
Bring audio and video from Google Drive into a new episode or Studio, without downloading the file and uploading it again.

If your recording is already in Google Drive, you can now bring it straight into PodcastAI. Choose the file from Drive and PodcastAI copies it over. There is no need to download it to your computer first.
Google Drive is available in both + New Episode and Studio. Use + New Episode for a finished recording you want to turn into an episode. Use Studio when you want to bring a recording into your editing workspace.
Start Where You Work
Open + New Episode, then choose Google Drive in the upload window. In Studio, open the upload controls and choose Google Drive as the source.
If Google Drive is not connected yet, follow the connection steps first. If you do not have permission to connect it, ask a workspace owner or admin to help. Once connected, choosing Google Drive opens Google’s own file picker.

Choose Your Recording
In the Choose a Recording window, browse your folders or search for the file by name. You can switch between a grid and a list to find the recording you need.
Select the audio or video file, then confirm with Select. PodcastAI checks that it can access and import the file before starting the transfer. Choose the recording itself, rather than a folder.

Continue in PodcastAI
Once the import has started, the recording is copied directly from Google Drive. You do not need to keep the picker open while it transfers. PodcastAI reports the import’s progress and lets you know if something needs attention.
When the recording is ready, continue working on the episode or in Studio. Importing brings the file into PodcastAI; publishing remains a separate step, so you can finish preparing the episode before it goes live.
