The new Studio

Add intros, outros, cold opens and B-roll to your recording. Preview the episode on one timeline before you export.

Studio Editor - PodcastAI

Studio brings your recording, intro, outro and other parts of an episode onto one timeline. You can work with audio or video, check how the pieces fit together, and play the sequence before making the finished file.

Open Studio from your show’s sidebar. The preview and timeline sit on the left, with the asset panels on the right. You can open the section you need while keeping the episode in view.

Bring In Your Recording

Drop in a recording from your computer, or import one from Google Drive or Dropbox. Once it is ready, the recording appears on the timeline. Video also appears in the preview above it.

Use the playhead to move to a particular point and the zoom controls to look more closely at the timeline. You can trim the recording and play the result to check where it starts and ends.

Add an Intro and Outro

Use the Intro and Outro panels to add your opening and closing files. Saved intros and outros can be reused across episodes, so you do not need to upload the same files each time.

Their positions on the timeline show how they fit around the main recording. Play across the joins to hear the transition from your intro into the conversation, and from the recording into your outro.

Choose a Cold Open

A cold open is a short moment from the episode that plays before the intro. Studio can search the recording for suggested moments when the recording is long enough.

Review the suggestions and choose the one you want to use. You can adjust the selected moment’s start and end, then preview it with the rest of the episode. Finding suggestions does not choose an opening for you.

Add B-Roll to a Video Episode

B-roll is extra footage that appears over your main video while the recording’s audio continues. It can show something being discussed without interrupting the conversation.

Open B-Roll in the asset panel to upload footage, then place it on the timeline. Preview that section to check when the footage appears and when the picture returns to the main recording.
