Marcy Langlois has lived a life that could have been defined by its limitations. At times, her journey read like a horror story, a tragedy, a coming-of-age fable, and even a romance. Born with a cleft lip and palate, Marcy endured a childhood of medical fragility. Surgeries, doctors’ appointments, and worse—the bullying, teasing, and whispers of others.While still in high school, Marcy experienced a tragic car accident which she was fortunate to survive. By age 27, Marcy’s guilt had taken the wheel and alcohol was her trusty co-pilot.

After a decade-long battle with alcoholism, Marcy reached rock bottom. When there was nowhere left to turn, she reached out for help and looked inward at the beliefs, habits, behaviors, and trauma that created that unsustainable life.

After embracing sobriety, Marcy engaged in therapy, personal reflection, and spiritual exploration. She put one foot on the path of recovery and has never looked back.

Today, Marcy and her wife have created a family which has thrived in a relationship spanning over two decades. Professionally, she has achieved remarkable success in the banking industry. However, her true passion lies in sharing her transformative story with others.
